Can't believe Red Bull is ready to sack Lawson two races into the schedule
I'm not sure why anyone would want to race for them, that's for damn sure. If your name is not Max you have to perform right away and better be finishing 2nd every race to Max or your ass is grass
It sucks Ferrari got clipped Sunday
Carlos Sainz jr. should have got the seat next to Max. But to be honest the Red Bull cars suck this year.
Some in the British press talked about Max Verstappen "stole" the race from McLaren lol..
'Verstappen is a monster,' was the headline in Spanish Marca . 'Max achieved a majestic victory in Japan. He didn't have the best car over a single lap, nor the best race pace, but he beat the much faster McLarens in every way. For Verstappen, it was a matter of keeping his RB21 in first place after a good start, a car in which no one else would finish higher than fifth. That is the power of the four-time champion.
Italian La Gazzetta Dello Sport saw Verstappen 'making the most of' his pole position. 'That was a lap of a true champion on Saturday. The Dutchman then cashed in his pole with a race in which, in an inferior car, he had the power and class to keep McLaren behind him.'
The German Bild thinks that Verstappen could have been beaten by Oscar Piastri. The Australian finished third, but seemed faster than his teammate Lando Norris during the race. According to Bild , the Briton should have been made way for Piastri. 'A big mystery', was the headline in the tabloid. 'Why did McLaren do that? A stroke of luck for Verstappen', the Germans believe.
At the Belgian Het Laatste Nieuws they thought about Ayrton Senna several times this weekend. 'Our columnist Jan Segers wrote a book about Senna in a previous life. The right foot of God , was the title. But God has two feet. He gave the other one to Max Verstappen.
'We didn't just think about it during the Japanese race. After all, Senna's name had been mentioned before. A first time on Saturday: how Verstappen secured that pole position, almost everyone agreed: it can only happen when someone is in a kind of 'exalted' state behind the wheel. Someone who rises above himself. Indeed: 'Like Senna.'
French newspaper L'Équipe gave Verstappen a 9 for his performance. 'Magic Max, who hasn't had a pole position and a win in one weekend since the Emilia Romagna GP in May 2024, is back!'
Italian media were stunned by the Dutchman to be truly the GOAT he should go to Ferrari in the future. He can make Ferrari Champions again for several years even with an inferior car.
Nice Pole position for Piastri Russell and Leclerc start second and third Lewis and Max could do better in the race and Tsunoda top 10. I believe in Yuki and noticed more people here are becoming a fan of Piastri like me.

Marko runs out of superlatives for 'incredible' Verstappen Max Verstappen took pole position for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in a very impressive way. Helmut Marko can't believe his eyes.
Max Verstappen surprised friend and foe by taking pole position in Saudi Arabia. The 27-year-old Dutchman squeezed out a fantastic lap in extremis and trumped Oscar Piastri. Helmut Marko runs out of superlatives for Verstappen's performance.
"I think McLaren bluffed a lot in FP3 and had very little fuel in the car," Marko told Sky DE . "We also re-set the car towards qualifying. That went exactly right, after which Max drove an incredible, unbelievable lap. He lost some time in the second sector, but the last corner was incredible again."
The cooler temperatures also played into Red Bull's hands. "Yes, definitely. The cooler it gets, the better it goes. But it's clear that the set-up was the right one. And as I said, McLaren's bluff this morning annoyed us all. But after Lando Norris hit the wall, we realised that it looked different again."

They are whining in the media here lol. It will be Max vs Red Bull..
Doohan is out.
F1 team Alpine sends Doohan away, Colapinto's replacement groomed in Zandvoort Share this article The Formula 1 team of Alpine makes a driver change after only six grands prix. The Argentine Franco Colapinto takes over the seat of the Australian Jack Doohan for at least the next five races.
The decision was made by Alpine due to Doohan's poor performance. The 22-year-old driver has not yet managed to earn any world championship points. He crashed in the first lap at the races in Melbourne and Miami. The son of five-time world motorcycle racing champion Mick Doohan made his Formula 1 debut for Alpine at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the end of 2024.
Colapinto is doing a test today in Zandvoort. Alpine has rented the circuit in the North Holland dunes for two days. Yesterday, the young Japanese Ritomo Miyata was allowed to take a seat in the bolide.
One thing is certain if you want to be a F1 driver these days…
You better have a shitload of backing behind you or you don’t stand a chance. The days of being an elite driver alone are over and you better have big bucks when you show up

Formula 1 has always been a plaything for the rich, but in recent years it has become so exorbitantly expensive that even they have dropped out.
These are the 5 richest Formula 1 drivers of all time 1 Michael Schumacher, €552 million. 2 Lewis Hamilton, €262 million. ... 3 Fernando Alonso, €240 million. ... 4 Max Verstappen, €195 million. ... 5 Kimi Räikkönen, €163 million.
Mick Schumacher appears closer than ever to a Formula 1 return, according to SPORT1 . After a disappointing 2022 season with Haas , where he lost his seat, the young German has since focused on other racing challenges. But now there appear to be signs that he is in talks with new F1 team Cadillac for a potential return. Cadillac will make their debut next season as the 11th team on the grid and are looking for a mix of experience and youth for their line-up.
I hope Cadillac doesn’t go that route. I have nothing against Mick, I think he got a raw deal at Haas but he’s not the kind of driver you need for a new start up team.

Mario Andretti says Sergio Perez "has to be" one of the drivers under consideration for the Cadillac F1 team in 2026. An American driver would be great imo !
