thx for the post rush. a few thoughts about article.
can GR just use proper accepted terms when describing the outfit for once. "the sarno boys" really? the sarno street crew or sarno faction would have worked. i guess of course unless they are now indeed a new street gang called "the sarno boys." i do not doubt the existence of such a group but simplify the terms is all.
as far as the LK goes i am in know way knowledgeable about them. have really only been getting my head around c-notes and 12th street players lately. from a couple sources though i have found the membership of the LK in just chicago is 25 000!!! is that right? even if its not i think its fair to say they have membership in chicago area in the 1000s.
the LK are allied with the people nation as opposed to folk nation? does this still hold true?
12th street at one time was allied with people nation as well?
c-notes were allied with folk nation. does this still hold?
i ask out of total curiosity as the chicago gang scene is interesting both historically and how it does or doesnt line up with active crews in the outfit.
if the 2 street gangs, 12th street players and c-notes allie themselves with different 'nations' so to speak how does this work in the context of the outfit?
