Yankees have to hope that Dominguez is the real deal. I believe he can be but he cannot keep getting injured. Health is the biggest factor for him. As well as getting comfortable in the corner outfield spots.

I'm curious to see Dominguez get a full season to play with. He was only called up in September 2023 before getting injured and then had setbacks last year. Let's see what he can do when he's given the full to develop at the major league level.
Most improved will definitely be the Chicago White Sox. Not sure how improved that will be but it can't be worse than last year.
Considering they traded away Crochet, I doubt they do much better than last year.
I'd love nothing more than to see the Dodgers bomb next year LOL. Will be great when they can't afford all this BS and those deferred contracts set in and they paying and paying and paying and then some
They are more reliant on Stanton this year as well. I would like to see them go out and get another great hitter in the lineup. Luiz Arraez is who I am rooting for but they do not seem to be interested in him.
They'd need to trade for Arraez plus he's in his walk year. I say keep the assets and try to scoop him up on the FA market and possibly Michael King too next year.
Dutch MLB baseball player Jurickson Profar suspended 80 games for doping 1 hour agoin Sports
ATLANTA - Dutch international baseball player Jurickson Profar (32) has been suspended for eighty games because traces of a banned substance were found.
His club Atlanta Braves wrote in a statement that they were "very surprised and extremely disappointed" by the doping use. The suspension is effective immediately. "We hope that Jurickson will learn from this," the club said.
Profar tested positive for the pregnancy hormone (HCG), a banned substance according to Major League Baseball (MLB). HCG is a testosterone stimulant that is also on the doping list of doping authority WADA.
Profar recently transferred from the San Diego Padres to the Atlanta Braves. He had one of his best years in the American Major League last year. He was the eighth Dutchman ever selected for the All Star Game.
Will Andruw Jones make the Hall of Fame in his eighth year on the ballot?
He was the reason we love the Atlanta Braves. Jones is one of four outfielders to win exactly 10 Gold Gloves, with Ken Griffey Jr., Al Kaline and Ichiro Suzuki. That's two more first-ballot Hall of Famers and another who seems destined to be the same, in Suzuki.

Great way to open the season for the Yanks. The bats came out hot. I know it's extremely early but couldn't ask for much more.
I saw the highlights What are the ‘torpedo’ bats in MLB that have everyone talking?
Haha I hate the Yankess with an absolute never ending passion, but people need to calm down about the torpedo bats. So what happened is that the Yankees tested one of their hitters and found that all his home runs came off the "label" of the bat. So, they made a fully legal modification to maximize his performance. Relax! It's not gonna turn the game on its head lol. This is not just a Yankee thing anymore. Other teams have picked up on this too.
This is nothing new. The game is constantly evolving. Just a couple of years ago hitters started working a bat with a meaty "puck" at the base. Years before that it was the axe handle bat.
Go Dodgers baby! 6-0
But you had to play it cool, had to do it your way Had to be a fool, had to throw it all away

They also redistributed some of the weight of the bat to the sweet spot for more pop. It was created by a former Yankees employee who went to MIT. Bat was submitted to MLB and approved before the season.
