I still think Mike blamed him somewhat for Sonny's death. Don't forget Tom was still consigliere then when Sonny was killed, and I'm sure Mike expected him to keep Sonny somewhat reigned in even though we all know that was impossible.

I also agree that Tom's wording with Frankie situation was calling Mike out and of course he didn't like that either and poured it on
