Defense is more expensive than offense over $500 million just this one
The unwritten rule is that the interceptor missile always costs more than the missile being intercepted.

The issue of cost is one which motivated the development of the Iron Beam laser interception system which is currently being developed by the Defense Ministry and RAFAEL.
