The criminal escalation continues in the Prato area. During the night in via del Purgatorio, a Chinese man was attacked by a group of fellow countrymen armed with knives, truncheons and firearms. Several gunshots were also fired. The news was reported by the Prosecutor of Prato Luca Tescaroli in a note. The man, stabbed several times, is hospitalized but is not in danger of life. Investigations are ongoing. Only two days ago, a man was beaten to the brink of death and a woman was seriously injured inside a club in Prato after a raid by armed men. The man underwent emergency brain surgery at Careggi hospital. The episode is thought to be a 'settling of scores' between Chinese gangs.
