Former DEA agent: 'Kinahan clan planned assassination in Almere for Iran' (VIDEO)
The liquidation of 56-year-old electrician Ali Motamed in Almere in December 2015 was organised by the Irish crime clan Kinahan. The Kinahans accepted the liquidation order from Iran and placed it with Amsterdam criminals. Former DEA agent Jack Kelly of the American Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) told the BBC.

At the end of 2022, the court of appeal sentenced Amsterdam residents Anouar “Twins” A. and Moreo “Terminator” M. to 23.5 years in prison for shooting Iranian Eneco employee Ali Motamed on 15 December 2015 in Almere. Naoufal F. (“Noffel”) was previously sentenced to life imprisonment for organising this liquidation, but he was acquitted of complicity in the murder at the beginning of this year.
