Couple killed in Rome with at least 6 gunshots
Chinese dead in settling of scores or robbery gone wrong
At least six gunshots were fired late Monday evening in Rome against a couple of Chinese citizens killed in via Prenestina, near the Pigneto district of the Italian capital, police said Tuesday.
The two 53-year-olds were returning home by bike when, a few meters from the building where they lived, the killers approached on a motorcycle and opened fire.
The victims were hit in the back of the head. The Carabinieri are investigating the incident. On site are the soldiers of the VII Survey Section of the Investigative Unit and the Piazza Dante company. At the moment, no leads have been ruled out, from a settling of scores to a robbery gone wrong.
