Lisa (Mafia Student) actually researched and produced this video. But I do believe so. By all accounts, Waffa was a dangerous guy. And Crazy Joe Gallo loved him. So much so, that when Gallo got married, he made Ali Baba his best man. He was also Joey's personal bodyguard, and supposedly, Gallo considered him his best friend.
