Thats where Manna grew up and operated out of pretty much his entire lifetime. His father, Morris Manna, was a wiseguy from the North Jersey section. So that area had always been their stomping grounds from way back when.

PS: I didn't see the post you made above. Thats correct, Hollander. Both father and son lived and operated around Hoboken and the surrounding towns all their lives.


The Jersey waterfront along the Hudson river was and still is huge, very interesting how the Dutch created an area in the 17th century up to the Hudson Valley. Dutch continued to be spoken for 200 years in the Hudson Valley because the area remained more ethnically Dutch and had fewer outside influences than New York City.
