You are right and nobody is talking about Sudan !

Genocide
Sudan is in the throes of a violent civil war. Increasingly, reports of rape, looting and torture are emerging. Mass graves, beheadings and child murder are a reality for millions of people. The escalation of violence dates back to 2019, when the government army (Sudanese Armed Forces, SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) deposed dictator Omar al-Bashir and a few years later started a battle for power among themselves. The official death toll is sixteen thousand, but that number could easily be ten times higher, says Sudan expert Joe Siegle of think tank AISS.

More than ten million people have now fled, more than anywhere else in the world. The UN World Food Programme warns that the world's worst famine is also imminent: more than twenty million Sudanese are at risk of dying from malnutrition. Since May, human rights organisation Human Rights Watch has been speaking of suspected genocide in the west of the country.

Raw materials
Sudan has a lot to offer. The country in northeastern Africa is home to a lot of gold and diamonds, which the warring army units used to become rich. The Russian Africa Corps (formerly Wagner Group) operates mines there, through which Putin obtains about 10 percent of his gold reserves from the country, in exchange for which he gives weapons. His invasion of Ukraine is therefore partly paid for with Sudanese gold, which explains why Ukraine is interfering with it by means of the drone in the video. But there are many other countries with a finger in the pie, the most important two being the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia. They are involved in a mutual battle for regional influence .
