'Ndrangheta, murders and ambushes: shooting (and investigation) still going on in the Inter and Milan stadiums
The latest attempted murder took place in the heart of Milan. The target was a Milan fan foiled by gunshots. New work for prosecutors Storari and Ombra

LAMEZIA TERME A bloody murder that cost the life of a 'ndrangheta scion; a cold case solved after two and a half years. But shooting continues in the streets of Milan and the targets are always the same: Inter and Milan ultras. The latest episode is perhaps more alarming because it occurred right after two very current news stories that have lifted the veil on the world of organized fans of the two Milanese teams. And, above all, hit hard by the operation "Doppia Curva" of the Milan Anti-Mafia District.
The same one that, again with the prosecutors Paolo Storari and Sara Ombra, will have to investigate together with the Flying Squad to reconstruct the ambush that took place on Thursday, in broad daylight, in the middle of traffic.
The target? A Milan fan, Luca Guerrini (born in 1997). Shortly after 1:00 p.m., on Via Imbriani, in the northern suburbs, two men dressed in dark clothes and wearing full-face helmets approached the 27-year-old's car, which was stopped at the traffic lights, on a scooter. The passenger on the scooter got out and fired three shots with a modified blank pistol. Two shots lodged in the car, without hitting him, while the third shot jammed and Guerrini managed to get out and escape on foot. Investigators found a large flag and a banner of the Milan fans in a backpack inside the bag. The 27-year-old told investigators that the two had followed him for a stretch of the road, but that he had no idea why he had become a target. In fact, he implied, without explicitly stating it in writing, that it could have been a case of mistaken identity. A version that does not seem credible.
Also because his name - without however being investigated - had emerged in the reports that led to the "Doppia Curva" investigation. Guerrini, particularly linked to the figure of the "Joker" Luca Lucci, already on trial, allegedly participated in the ambush of Dinamo Zagreb fans (2022) and in the posting of an intimidating banner against Inter player Federico Dimarco. But, above all, Guerrini together with another partner nicknamed "Marcone" allegedly managed one of the sales points of the "Italian Ink" centers, a brand started in franchising by the ultra leader Lucci, in Milan-Bovisa. Lucci has been in prison since September 30 after the "Doppia Curva" blitz and the 27-year-old, according to an initial investigative hypothesis, would have made a leap in the hierarchy of the Milan Sud but, also on this front, investigations are underway.
In short, a new tangle to unravel for the investigators of the Milan DDA. The arrest of the ultra leaders, and the resulting power vacuum , could have unleashed new appetites for those who, instead, have remained at liberty. And, as the recent investigation would demonstrate, the income from the San Siro curves is coveted by many and those who intend to grab it are not afraid of shooting and killing. Even in broad daylight, in the middle of traffic. ( g.curcio@corrierecal.it )
