We'll be releasing Part 2 of Dioguardi's biography later this week.

We're also planning a Part 3, which will be a membership chart featuring the men who served within Johnny Dio's "Crew"

And it's probably not what you think. It's one of the more 'unique' type membership charts we've ever created.

The "Johnny Dio Crew" chart names eighty some-odd hoodlums allied with Dio, and has a gallery with three-dozen mugshots.

That photo of him with the scowl and the cigarette dangling from the corner of his mouth is a classic.

Yes, dsd. I definitely think a solid case could be made for Dio having become the most notorious and highly-publicized mafioso from the mid-1950s well into the 1960s era.

Arguably, his most notorious moments came in the aftermath of the Victor Riesel acid-blinding on a New York street. Thereafter, the name Johnny Dioguardi became synonymous with gangsterism and labor racketeering all across America.

And him later being grilled before several U.S. Senate Committees only added to his mystique.

ButtonGuys names all those who were actual members and associates of Johnny Dio's personal crew.

This membership chart names 81+ members, including "made" soldiers and crew "associates" alike, as well as many of the corrupt union officials and other functionaries serving directly under Johnny Dio. Also included is a photo gallery with 37 rare mugshots and photographs depicting their crew.

Because of the complexity and sophistication of his racket activities, I also thought it was important to post the membership chart, before posting part 3 of Dioguardi’s biography, to allow the reader to better comprehend who was who and what role they played within Johnny’s racket operations.

Subsequently, ‘Part 3’ and the final installment will be released late next week.
