Ah, nostalgia! I haven't been to a concert since Ol' Shep was a pup...just can't afford 'em these days. Why, I remember the days (in my best old-man voice) when you could see bands like Journey, Styx, ZZ Top, Heart, Kansas, Bad Company (the original, of course), Molly Hatchet, .38 Special, Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rush, Point Blank, John Waite and The Babies, Ted Nugent...oops! Sorry! Got carried away! Anyways, it'd be like the price of an album back then (al' bum = a big round vinyl disc upon which recordings were made in ancient times). I've seen all the above and about as many more back then for anywhere from $5 to $10. I loved going so much that I missed both my Junior and Senior proms in lieu of concerts (Aerosmith and ZZ Top, if I remember correctly). But it's so friggin' expensive these days that there's no way I could afford it. To those of you who can, salute'.

BTW, Journey recorded a good deal of their old live album, "Captured," right here in Memphis, and I was there. Man! You guys are right about Perry. It was awesome.
