Yes, and I think that his Batmobile was actually a Cadillac or a Chevy. He also carried a gun on that show.

Don Cardi cool

Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.

Which is clearly why we don't see reruns of that show. You wouldn't dare show a superhero weilding a "real" weapon, it might be influential to minors. No, he's gotta have a "batarang" and whatnot now. :p

Or maybe it can't be seen because maybe...just maybe...its lame?

Still, the original BATMAN as created by Bob Kane and Mr. Finger was quite something back in the 1930s before it got "cleaned" by society later on until we got the silly camp crap with the TV show in the 1960s.

I mean a good example was when some serum causes for many people to become blood-sucking zombies. While the Batman that many of us remember would try to find a cure first, this original Bat just took out his weapon and BAM BAM BAM to the Zombies, THEN he found a cure.

Another reason the original show won't air is the fact that the 40's one that came out after WW2 had racist dialogue towards the Japenese villain.
