It opened... But he is now comatose and half-retarded. :p I have a warped sense of humor, no?
"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

Wow RB!! You have way more guts than me. I wouldn't skydive for all the money in the world. How long does it take before you actually hit the ground? Did you yell!!!! TIS

So, in other words, he's still the same RB we remember. [/b][/quote];) really funny. I free falled for about a minute before the chute opened. It was unbelieveable. I paid the extra money for a photagrahper to take video of me while I fell. It was definetly money well spent. I just spent the evening partying with my fellow jumpees, so I admit I am not quite perfectly aware. All is I can say is that I have done every crazy thing there is to do, but skydiving was definetly the best. It was scary, but not as bad as one might think. I would recommend it to everyone.

Tandem free-fall harnessed to an instructor? Great way to make a first jump. Glad you enjoyed it! The World Free Fall Convention is now held in Downstate Illinois on a decommissioned air force base. Blue skies! tony b.
