I think our plans for the 19th are going to depend on the weather. Personally, I would like like to see the Liberty Bell (although I believe SC said it wasn't all it's "cracked" up to be ) and Independence Hall. I would also like to go to the Italian Open Air Market. It sounds like fun, and it's close to Pat's for some cheesesteak. Does that sound like fun to anyone else??

I'm up for anything, as long as it doesn't make me spill my drink!

Another suggestion for those who are historically inclined, the Independence Hall tour is quick moving and informative. You sit in the same seats as the delegates for the Constitutional Convention. I recommend (if you go there) that JGeoff sit in Madison's seat...he had a beverage holder installed on the right arm rest so he wouldn't spill his drink. The most memorable tid bit was the description of the inauguration of John Adams, which was attended by correspondents throughout the world, who could not imagine a peaceful transferral of power and were amazed when Washington did not arrive with a militia to keep power. Washington merely walked home alone to his Philadelphia lodging after the inaugural. Probably stopped for a cheesesteak and pretzel.

I arrive in Philly at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, of course depending on the flight being on time. By the time I get my luggage and to the hotel, and check-in, I'm guessing 6:00/6:30?????? I don't care where we meet, just let me know. Who besides SB is arriving on Saturday??? And, what time Saturday? Looking forward to it!!! TIS
