A question to those across the Pond. What do you guys consider worse: Lars von Trier's (arguable) criticism of the United States of America (as in Dogville, Dear Wendy, and the rest of his "America" trilogy)? Or the Stones' recent lyrics?

Considering, of course, that the Stones have been to the US, and von Trier's never stepped foot in it.

I can file Lars von Trier under "Don't know-Don't care"

Ditto. I had no idea who the guy was until you mentioned him, Capo.

However, Michael Moore is still a piece of shit.

Well, another question, which you may care about: Whose opinion is more valid, if they criticise your country? Mine, or Patrick's?

Judge by where we live.

Well, since this is an international message board, both are equally valid in my eyes. However, I consider the source (not the location, but rather, the modus operandi of the poster) in many of my responses.

DJ,

I agree anyone can post their opinions here. That aside however, do you agree that someone like Capo, or any other person from the UK, in particular, should have a say and/or a valid intelligent opinion about this war, this President, and this administration since they have stuck with the US in the war?

So full of questions, I've gotten them from Capo, Plaw, and now TIS.

To answer your question, sure, they can have whatever opinion they want.

That doesn't mean they are necessarily correct.

It doesn't mean I won't come right back and correct them myself. :p

How to annoy a democrat...keep posting facts, they get bored easily.

After all, one stereotypical comment deserves another!
