I've heard that as well. I get the impression they want to have it, but not in N.O. I certainly can understand why they would want to skip it this year, but then again, if it's something the people of LA and especially N.O. "wants" to do, you're right, it will bring in revenue. Does anyone know if Mardi Gras was ever cancelled for any reason in the past? (I don't really even know how many years they've been celebrating it, only that it's an old tradition).
