As I saw, this forum is international and is a very good stuff dat different people of different culture have in common the gangsta's theme interest .

But , as you've been seeing in the movies, dez a kind of code, of rules , de "right behaviour" we saying, dat got historical and social meanings .

If you'd like to understand better "why some1 had beahaved in dat way and to say what" just ask to me ,I'll give you de right explanation about .

This is my first post, nice to meet ya I'm a napolitan girl that lives in London for... for my businesses

Also I wasn't trying to be perfect.

That might've been a little disrespecful, but I added that post because I thought that person is someone from England.

So, being from the United Kingdom, this individual should at least put an effort on her English skills to write something proper and coherent.

Vito.

Vito, I don't want to turn this into a debate or an arguement. But who the hell are you to decide who should make an effort with their English skills?

Your reply to me indicates that you do not carefully read posts, just as I suspected that you didn't carefully read the new member's post.

Go back and re-read my post, carefully and you'll see that the NEW MEMBER's name is MASTA RA and my GF fan question was directed at her.

Maybe you should put an effort in your reading skills.

Oh yes my bad, I just figured it's her. At first I thought you were calling me that, anyways who cares

And I'm not deciding who should make an effort with their English skills, but at least I thought of the idea that one should at least try to write something decent. So that when you try it, everyone can understand it.

You're doing EXACTLY that. You're deciding who should improve their language skills to your liking. Your English communicative skills are somewhat lacking, so look in the miror first.

Now, be smart and don't argue the point any further. In any event, you STILL owe the lady an apology.

Welcome, Masta Ra. It's very nice to see one more Italian member on this boards. We all try to manage English as well as we can, but (in general) we are cordial.
Hope you'll enjoy.

I recommended her the Callan method because it's great to master your English as I see her English might need some improvement.

I didn't mean to be superior in terms of English skills as you're thinking because I also used to be an ESL (English as a Second Language) student back in High school here.

I just wanted to recommend something useful to the girl, but what I get is this.

You are missing the point!!! READ WHAT EVERYONE ELSE HAS SAID HERE. You're being rude to suggest she needs to improve her English.

You still wanna debate this??

You say you're not doing anything wrong.

I say you are.

Debate over.

Guess what? I win.

Take my advice and END THIS NOW!

Capiche?

If I was rude, then CAN'T YOU FIGURE IT OUT that it wasn't my point?

I don't wanna be rude against anyone.

Yeah it was my big mistake to have recommended her this great method to learn English.

Forget it.

For example, if you come to visit my home, and you greet me and tell me something, and I don't understand you. I then tell you to go learn english and give you dictionary. That's not rude?

Hey, how's it going?

Depending on HOW you say it, I believe it's not.

I'd rather thank you for the advice.

Ummm...no. Disrespectful, probably, but it seems like you just wanted to take a cheap shot at Vito with that one.

Vito, forgetabout it

Don't try and explain any further. You seem to be talking to deaf ears.

What I don't understand though, is why after Geoff corrected Vito, anybody/everybody else had jump on board and make it a lynching.

After Vito was corrected he said he was sorry and was trying to say that he wasn't trying to be rude. He was just explaining himself. That is the way I understand each of his posts. Why does it take another two moderators and other posters to brow beat him?

What's sickening is him going back at SC and then defending his behavior.

Vito - I'm sure you didn't intend to be rude, but it came across that way. I'm sure you meant well, and was trying to be helpful. But when it was pointed out that it sounded rude, you showed a "who cares" attitude rather than an apology to Masta Ra. Maybe your own language barrier makes it hard to make the distinction. In any case, I think we're done with this issue now...

Masta Ra - Benvenuto! Feel free to start a new thread since I am closing this one because it's gotten off topic...
