Extremely rude. I thought only a few classless Americans would do something like this, but, someone who speaks English as a second language?? Just rude. And unacceptible here. This is the WORLD-WIDE WEB, and not everyone is as "perfect" as you, okay?
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

Totally uncalled for! That is not the way to welcome someone to these boards! Anyone that has taken the time to read this new members post very closely would have the common sense to realize that there is an obvious language barrier here. Masta Ra, please don't think that one member's rudeness is an indication of how the other members will treat you here. We already have, and continue to welcome, ALL people from different parts of the world. We encourage you to contiue to post and enjoy yourself on these boards. Are you a big Godfather Fan Masta Ra? That might've been a little disrespecful, but I added that post because I thought that person is someone from England. So, being from the United Kingdom, this individual should at least put an effort on her English skills to write something proper and coherent. Vito.

Vito, I don't want to turn this into a debate or an arguement. But who the hell are you to decide who should make an effort with their English skills? Your reply to me indicates that you do not carefully read posts, just as I suspected that you didn't carefully read the new member's post. Go back and re-read my post, carefully and you'll see that the NEW MEMBER's name is MASTA RA and my GF fan question was directed at her. Maybe you should put an effort in your reading skills. Oh yes my bad, I just figured it's her. At first I thought you were calling me that, anyways who cares
And I'm not deciding who should make an effort with their English skills, but at least I thought of the idea that one should at least try to write something decent. So that when you try it, everyone can understand it.

Your English communicative skills are somewhat lacking, so look in the miror first. Now, be smart and don't argue the point any further. In any event, you STILL owe the lady an apology.

[/b][/quote]No, I'm not doing that. I recommended her the Callan method because it's great to master your English as I see her English might need some improvement. I didn't mean to be superior in terms of English skills as you're thinking because I also used to be an ESL (English as a Second Language) student back in High school here. I just wanted to recommend something useful to the girl, but what I get is this.

If I was rude, then CAN'T YOU FIGURE IT OUT that it wasn't my point?
I don't wanna be rude against anyone.
Yeah it was my big mistake to have recommended her this great method to learn English.
Forget it.

Depending on HOW you say it, I believe it's not.
I'd rather thank you for the advice.

Vito - I'm sure you didn't intend to be rude, but it came across that way. I'm sure you meant well, and was trying to be helpful. But when it was pointed out that it sounded rude, you showed a "who cares" attitude rather than an apology to Masta Ra. Maybe your own language barrier makes it hard to make the distinction. In any case, I think we're done with this issue now... Masta Ra - Benvenuto! Feel free to start a new thread since I am closing this one because it's gotten off topic...
