Two secrets: my record, over a minute, was when there were a lot of windows open on the computer, and thus the blocks kept stopping, and giving me a chance to move.

The second: for the first fifteen seconds or so as a freebie, move down straight away let all the blocks pass one another and then move the cursor up to the top left. They'll go round a few times before you even get close to them. When one's heading for the top left, move vertically down to the bottom left corner, and hide there for a few more seconds...

The first 15-17 seconds is nothing. In fact the first 12 -13 seconds can be beat very easy as Capo said. But doing that gets rather boring and is little or no challage at all.

Playing the game when your computer is not running up to speed or freezing up, doesn't count for crap. You have to keep the playing field level. in fact some of us play that you must keep the red cube in motion, like a 3 second rule.

So.... still nobody has really gotten over the 30 second mark yet.

This easy to understand and easy to play game is VERY addictive. The best part is that anyone can play. Young or old, everyone likes it.
I am glad to see everyone had some fun with it.

Fathersson, did you manage 30 sec? I marginally crossed 18 sec once, but coult not repeat! How do we know all those who crossed 18 sec are really playing it on a fast computer with no loading. Atleast Capo let the secret out. I think Afi is playing with some cave-age computer Who said slow computers are useless

I have never played this game on an old computer. The game has never slowed down or frozen as some have reported here.
I admit that our computers are newer and are fast. But I don't think computer speed helps in this game. On the fast side anyway.

I can tell you that a wireless mouse doesn't help you at all. Now the bigger thin screen picture may help some.
Most people who we have played against me seem to be more likely to hit the walls and not the blue blocks as you reach the longer times.

To tell the truth, I have broken the 40 second mark, but avg. in the low to mid 30's most of the time. Again, mostly hitting the walls when I miss.
