Any money given to U.S. companies to do somethin Iraq impacts the U.S. economy VERY LITTLE. The government gives a company 1 million dollars to build a school in Iraq. So say half of that money actually goes to the Company and its workers, the other half is put into a school in Iraq, which leads to teachers being paid in Iraq and students learning in Iraq. If that same school were built in the U.S. it would create more jobs or increase student learning which would be able to be put back into the U.S. economy. The theory of starting war for profit was thrown out after WW2, all it is now is throwing money into another country and in no way helping your own economy.
