I haven't seen, nor do I really have any desire to see Brokeback Mountain, and one of the main reasons for this is that the only thing I've heard about it is that it deals with gay cowboys.

What else is there to the movie; there must be something there to have been reviewed so highly, but all anyone is talking about is either how brave it is for portraying gay cowboys like it did, or how it's just trash exploiting the gay angle to get a bunch of artsy reviews and awards.
