OK, so I just re-watched the trilogy over the weekend.

I have read the book as well as The Sicilian, which features Michael and Vito in small roles.

I have two books about the making of the movies that I have read several times.

I NEED MORE GODFATHER!!!

I am counting down the days until The Godfather Returns hits bookshelves in November, and I have heard rumblings about a video game coming out about the same time.

I cannot wait until this urge is fulfilled! I need more to sink my teeth into!

Other than watching the movies about once a year so they are fresh each viewing and maybe reading the book every now and then, there is not much more that I, as an obsessed fan, can do to satisfy my craving of all things Godfather.

Thank god for these forums, but all they really do is leave me wanting more!

So I am heading over to www.darkhorizons.com to see what movie news is happening today and guess what I see? A link for 6/21 called "Godfather Rumors" (amongst a Cameron movie, and something else.)

I click on the link and the news says nothing of the Godfather movie... I feel like Michael when he is flipping through the paper trying to learn of his father after he's been shot.

I e-mailed the webmaster at Dark Horizons to see what's going on. Could something be developing in Hollywood about another Godfather movie? We'll see....

I hope he writes me back.

i feel the same way. ive been able to cure myself temporarily with the Sopranos but still.....

I went to that Dark Horizons site and the heading is-Cameron, Hitler, Godfather Rumours
but if you click on it, it says nothing about The Godfather. They're bluffing.

I e-mailed the guy who runs the site and he wrote back saying that he received a crazy outline for the new Godfather movie... but didn't have sources to back it up so he ended up not posting it.

I asked him if he could elaborate on what they said and he said that he didn't have the info anymore. So it was probably someone just wanting to start a rumor for no good reason.

Even so, there are several good reasons to think that there is a new movie in the works.

I agree. As a GF fan, I find it surprising that there is so little published on the movies and so little (if any) fan fiction. There must be someone on this forum who is cranking out tales of the "in-between years" of the Corleone family! The lack of GF "stuff" was one of the things that led me to find GangsterBB and for a site dedicated to people who murder each other, I find this board to be rather civil!

I'm pretty sure at least 10( but probably more) of us are writing GF4 scripts. Pathetic, huh?
BTW-Welcome to the boards, you'll soon be addicted.
