Don't get me wrong....I have nothing against honest, mentally fit Americans having the right to keep and bear arms (uh-oh...this isn't yet another issue about which I disagree with the left, is it?), but whether or not the Bill of Rights "guarantees" this is a matter of opinion.
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.Some would argue that this right extends only to members of a state militia.
