Apple, You really MUST visit Halifax, Nova Scotia if you're that interested in Titanic. As I'm sure you know, Halifax led the rescue and recovery effort, and they've dedicated an entire floor of their Maritime Museum to the Titanic. Fascinating stuff. The city also graciously donated a large portion of their cemetery to bury the dead (yes, there is a grave that says J. Dawson), and there was the tomb of an the unknown little boy, who was recently identified. If you're a Titanic buff, Halifax is worth a visit.

Yes, thanks SB...I remember your mentioning Halifax in another thread several weeks ago.

I'd also really like to one day visit the Titanic Historical Society and its museum in Indian Orchard, MA...wouldn't even need a passport for that!!

Double-J...are you quite certain that's Independence Hall you've got pictured there in your post?

That's actually the Graff House where Jefferson did most of his writing on the Declaration. I couldn't find a picture I liked of Ind. Hall.

I would go back to around the 1920s. I would move to Key West or one of the Virgin Islands and be a pirate. These areas were trading posts so they would be the best place to nab the plunder. Arrrrge.

I would go back to see Jesus's birth. Also being in Vegas the night Tupac was shot would be interesting.

I have more "events" than specific time periods I'd like to return to.

1. I would have loved to seen Lincoln's Gettysburg address, and get the feel of the times. Although, don't know if I'd wanna stay in those times. I'd just like to see Lincoln.

2, Generally, something is neat and glamorous about the 40's. I liked the fashion back then.

and the following actually are in my lifetime, but I would still like to go back:

3. I would have liked to been a teenager in the 50's. Although I was born, and have memory of it, I was young when Rock & Roll hit the scene but my interest in it started when I was young. I remember the controversy somewhat, but wow!! Rock & Roll was brand new and to be a teen then just seems cool!! And they said it wouldn't last.

4. Nov. 22, 1963- I would have liked to have been either in the Texas Book Depository or the grassy knoll.

I'm sure there are more, but this is what comes to mind right now.

Ugh, the Zapruder film is disgusting enough. Why would you want to go back to that?

Well I'd love to go back and witness firsthand the time period of the gun-fighters like Billy the Kid, & Jesse James. As I've always been fascinated by that time period.

Plus I'd like to go back and witness firsthand the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, yeah I know that sounds disturbing. But I've always been fascinated by that date. Could be because I happen to share a birthday with the man who assassinated him.

The next question until Sat 20th is

What songs do people like that came out in 2005?

None of them.

They all sucked.

Anyone who liked the music of 2005 deserves to be shot, kicked in the face, stabbed repeatively, and then shot again for dramatization.

Well according to me, I don't care. As much as I hate today's state of music, I'm not gonna generalize all of it as bad whether it's sarcasm or seriousness.

Besides, I'd like to be shot a few times. Healthy for the torso.
