Oh my God, is it even a fair fight? Wes is a talented man, but PTA is our generation's Altman, and he is our generation's Scorsese. The man is a brilliant talent, and my personal favorite director. Infact, Magnolia needs a re-viewing on my new surround sound system that I just got for my room.

As does Boogie Nights, Punch Drunk Love, and Hard Eight, in that order.

Any man who does a film about the 1970s pornography industry, in the style of Goodfellas, is the man. Paul Anderson is a far superior film-maker, no doubt to it.

"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."
