I thought I would start a new thread about "Breaking News". Don't see that it was started before.
We could group all the news into this thread.

Okay, first. Just saw that Warren Jeffs, infamous polygamist, has been arrested in Las Vegas. Maybe this will save the faces of all the cable news channels with regard to the JonBenet Ramsey insanity! But I don't think so!

What do you think? Glad they got him. Allegedly selling child brides to old farts!

What will they think up next? Osama is in love with Whitney Houston!

As boring as I find politics and the flame wars that it causes, I am cringing at how convoluted the interweaving conversations might become in this thread; one thread to encompass all news?

Janice - Don't be thin-skinned. Its a good idea but I've noticed from experience that only some stories pique most members' comments (and they're usually opened in separate threads).
