Yesterday afternoon, I met Gianni Russo, the man who played Carlo Rizzi in "The Godfather".

In Buffalo, the annual Italian Fest is happening this weekend. My wife and I went there to try some food from various Buffalo-area Italian restaurants, pizzerias, and bakeries. It was great.

Well, Gianni Russo was there, signing autographs and enjoying the Fest. He had a stack of pictures of the Carlo-Connie wedding (the one where the whole Corleone family is posing) he was signing, and I got one.

He definitely looks older, but you can tell it's Carlo! He's got a full head of white/gray hair and a very deep tan. He definitely looked like an old gangster!

Pretty cool meeting an actor from the legendary movie!
