I can't believe how much it doesn't seem like five years. There have been so many discussions here that I wish he were able to respond to. He was so smart, interesting and fun.

I'm thankful to have known him. I think we gather bits and pieces of people's ideas we come to know, and I cherish what I took from him the most.

I remember the last time I saw him, just a few weeks before he died. He was so happy that all the women here were asking for him, he was such a dog! Miss you, my prince.

After reading about Plaw and Austin , and being on this board for only a short time I can feel it is a family. And what ever age the member might be it becomes family, personal. And we can laugh, cry, get pissed, and say what is on our hearts. As long as we aren't butt heads.

I have this feeling that Plaw, and Austin are looking down and getting a chuckle because they don't have to worry about the stuff anymore.

It's funny how the most unexpected things can make you think of someone. I remember when Rickie Weeks first started playing in the majors, Plaw was the guy who gave us "scouting" info on him, and now, every single time I hear Weeks' name or see him play, I think of our old friend.

Yeah, Gina... When I drafted Ty Wigginton this year, I immediately thought of Plaw, cuz at one point he had him, and he kept saying, "My guy, Ty" whenever he did well.

Im new here but my condolences especially to the people that knew him. I read his hypothetical gf novel and thought it was good. RIP

PLaw was the best. We all miss him that's for sure.

So weird. I made garlic bread today, and I thought of Plaw and how much I still miss him. And then MC posted something about him over in Valuable Vinyl.

Plaw liked to eat at a restaurant in Jersey City (can't think of the name of it) and they had the best garlic bread. He used to order loaves and loaves of it, and it was never enough.

I think of him every time I see fried zucchini on a menu (Carmine's) ... and of course when I think of The Nets! Gonna be 6 years Oct 5th.

It is very easy to tell you all loved this man and are truly a family over here, sorry for this loss as well as all other losses im sure you all have been threw over the years.

It was six years ago, today, that Paul left us. R.I.P. Paulieboy.

Wow, six years! It sure feels longer to me. There's a lot that I want to say about him, but it would be repeating myself year after year, and it would sound mushy, something he hated the most. But since I can't help it, I'd say again that he'll always have his corner in my heart.

How is it possible that six years has gone by?? Dear friend, I miss you so much, your humor, your smarts. I used to tease you all the time about what a chauvinistic pig you were, but nobody celebrated women the way you did. You were a wonderful friend, those
"sit-downs" we all had were the best, and I will always be grateful to this place for bringing us all together.

Really? Six years? Wow, I can't believe it. Like everyone else, I miss him as well. He was such respected presence here on the BB and knew a much about many topics (especially politics). Damn, I wish he was around this election season. Can you imagine?

Wow 6 years, only seems like yesterday that i saw the thread on Paul's passing..

It kinda does for me, too! Perhaps because he's left such an empty void here and in our hearts.

Even though i'm in and out of these boards for long periods of time, i still do remember Plaw. He was one of a handful of members who was ALWAYS consistent with what they said! He was a stand up guy!

I remember meeting him for the first time at a restaurant one night with some of the guys and gals from the boards. He was a beautiful man. I remember at another restaurant one evening I brought my wife and daughter. We met again and he was just as charming and wonderful that night as well. He was so nice to my family that day! God Bless u my friend!

He wrote a Christmas poem once with everyone's names in it. I know sometimes u post his night before Christmas poem but the one iam talking about was his other Christmas poem. Does anyone remember it? Awesome! Classic! Genius!!!

If any good came of it, he did not live to see how badle things have deteriorated in the General Discussion section. He would not have stood for it.
