I didn't realize it was a remake - I think I'd like to check out the original.

I was just grossed out by the whole transformation - glad I didn't have a meal recently.

And what's with them showing Poltergeist III now? I'm not sure I've even seen the second one...

I remember seeing Poltergeist in the theater when it was released. I don't know how many nights I went without sleep after that!!

Did anyone ever hear Eddie Murphy's routine about that?? It was absolutely hilarious!!

Sure wish I could've posted this before it started, but it's only about 20 minutes through...

It is on the Family Channel.

Wonder if SB's watching?

What a cute little clown. SB, say hello to the nice clown.

Yea, I see that's coming on here in a couple hours. He does give me the creeps.

Exorcist is on AMC now!!!

TIS, my mom's apparently scared of the clown, too. She refused to watch it.

That means it'll be on here in 3 hours.

My cable is switching from Adelphia to Time Warner and they switched a lot of the channel numbers. I hate having to learn them all over again.

I just watched "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and now the SciFI channel has "Village of the Damned".

TIS, it's not on at the same time there? I thought that times were listed as, say, 8/7 Central, meaning 8 Eastern and 7 Central...but that the same thing would appear at the same moment for both...I think I'm confusing myself now.

I watched a Scariest Movie Moments countdown on Bravo earlier - I'd seen it before, but it's such fun to watch. Between that, and It, taping Misery, watching the Exorcist now, Nightmare on Elm street earlier...it's been a real Monsterfest.

You know what I found that was done stupidly by AMC?

Last night, before showing the original Friday the 13th, they showed Friday the 13th part 2? Who makes these programming decisions? It's really not rocket science.

Well, I haven't been watching AMC but when you posted the "It" was on, I checked and it was on 2 (or maybe 3) hours from when you posted. Right now it's Friday 12 II.

And DC, I know what you mean. It makes absolutely no sense at all. You would think, especially considering the season, they'd plan a little better.

Probably best for me to let it be, TIS...come daylight savings (as DM mentioned in the shoutbox), I'll be even more confused.

DC, you're so right - and it doesn't exactly inspire someone to watch, if they've never seen the original. Way to ruin a series, right?

I actually planned to go to the movies for Halloween, swallow some dirty resin, get freaked out and watch Saw III. But I'm at Uni that night. How unfair.
