Mario had great respect for Sinatra's voice. He was convinced to approach Sinatra in a restaurant and Sinatra did have a fit (supposedly over the scenes in the Godfather that presented him as a wimp) but Mario never spoke badly about him, and just said it was like a couple of street kids fighting with each other good naturedly.
