I agree w/ Turnbull (and have always felt this way) that the 'betrayal' Michael refers to is in terms of his Business...how he misled and hid things from Kay, gave little if any though to the personal lives of his wife & children ("A man who doesn't spend time with his family....").
Remember that by the time of GFIII Michael Corleone has undergone a metamorphasis and is now quite aware of his responsibility in the failure of their marriage. Quite a reversal from his utter blindness to the situation when Kay first announces she's leaving him in GFII.
