Which film do you think is better, Goodfellas or Casino? I think that Goodfellas just manages to be the better, mostly because of a superior performance by Joe Pesci:

"But, I'm funny how? Funny like a clown? I amuse you? I make you laugh? I'm here to f*ckin' amuse you?"

That line always gets me every time!

Time to see Casino then, personally i think it's a better movie the Goodfellas.

Martin Scorsese
Robert DeNiro
Joe Pesci
Frank Vincent

and a beautiful wife - Sharon Stone in one, Lorraine Bracco in the other

One set in NY,the other in Vegas - great visuals....

I say rent them both, make a snack, sip some wine, cuddle up and make it a double feature...

They're both great movies, but I'd say Goodfellas is superior. I just think it's a better story, and I think DeNiro's role in in it is better.

I have to admit that I think Joe Pesci's performance in both movies was more superior (in my humble opinion) to all the other actors (including De Niro).

But yes I agree that Goodfellas was my favourite of the two movies. Mainly because of the story. I thought the story of Goodfellas out-classed that of Casino.

I also think that Deniro's performance wasn't as good in Casino as it was in Goodfellas. As for Pesci's, I think Goodfellas was his best performance that I've seen (I haven't seen Lethal Weapons or My cousin Vinny for years now).

Even Don Denny knew when to quit. But how else will MFM get to be underboss if he doesn't post 50+ times a day. It's only logical, Sonny.

Its not an implication, and I'm not going to debate this point with you. You have the right to post whatever you like as long as it doesn't attack a fellow member.

I prefer Casino because Deniro's character is much more multi-dimensional in it than he is in Goodfellas.

GoodFellas is a better, more enjoyable film. casino is incoherent and excessively long. GoodFellas is a classic only beaten by the first two godfather's as the greatest gangster movie of all time.
