Goodfellas(though Casino is better IMHO)

St. Valentines Day Massacre( my thanks go to Turnbull I love this movie I watch it every valentines day, and I would have forgotten this movie I'm so ashamed of myself. )

All time fave is Scarface. It's a masterpiece

2nd favourite would be 'State of Grace',starring Sean Penn,Ed Harris and Gary Oldman,about the Irish mafia in New York.It's a totally underrated
kickass gangster movie.

I don't know if this would be considered a true "mob" movie cause personally, I always associate them with Italians, but I loved "Carlito's Way". Al Pacino was supposed to be Puerto Rican, I think, but I saw it for the first time a week ago and I thought it rocked. Al Pacino is truly an amazing actor, is there anything he can't do? I also like "Goodfellas" and um, guilty pleasure = "The Last Don" (only the first one!)

^^ I Agree with Carlito's Way, To Me It Aint really like much of a mob movie...more of a drama about 1 man searching for his dream...ya know basically its as different to Scarface as you could get....which aitn a bad thing with the way Pacino Plays Carlito

I think my favorite movie other than Godfather 1,2,and 3 would be Scarface and Dog Day Afternoon.

Tough question ...

Goodfellas and Casino are two of the best.

One film I haven't seen, but I really want to, is Once Upon a Time in America.

Scarface and Carlito's way deserve honourable mentions.

I loved A Bronx Tale. It was a great, great film and it wasn't too graphic although it did have violence (what true mob movie doesn't). I loved how Robert De Niro was completely out of the loop - he wasn't the kingpin or a player in the business, he was a bystander who kept to himself and wanted what was best for his son. I rarely see him be part of a mob movie and not actually be IN the mob. That was cool. I really liked the little narrator kid ... does anyone know what happened to Lillo Brancato?
