Vito Corleone tops my list, with Frankie Pentangeli right behind. Two from older gangsers are right up there: Johnny Rocco (Edward G. Robinson) in "Key Largo", and Al Capone (Rod Steiger) in "Al Capone." Steiger was the best movie Capone imhop.
