I've Just Finished Watching The Last Don (The Complete Miniseries) On DVD. The Film Was Great! But Not Better Than The Book...

First rule of Fight Club, you do not talk about Fight Club. Second rule of Fight Club, you DO NOT talk about Fight Club. Third rule of Fight Club, when someone say "stop" or goes limp, the fight is over. Fourth rule of Fight Club, only two guys to a fight. Fifth rule of Fight Club, one fight at a time. Sixth rule of Fight Club, no shirt, no shoes. Seventh rule of Fight Club, fights go on as long as they have to. Eighth and final rule of Fight Club if this is your first night at Fight Club you have to fight.

I've read the book and seen the mini-series a couple times and I really liked them both. I did think part one was better than the second half of the mini-series, but I prefered the second half of the book to the first half.
I don't know about other countries, but the Last Don airs every couple years in Australia over 2 nights, usually on a Sunday then a Monday night. Worth checking out.

Ive only seen the first part yet. the second part is on tomorrow night. So far it doesn't seem so bad.

I thought the first part was better by far than the second part, mainly because of Danny Aiello (always good) and Joe Mantegna.
