The rumour is that Lucky wrot ehsi auto-biography while away in Sicily in 1940's-50's?
He told his family he didn't want it printed until after his death.
He died in 1965, and i believe the book Last Testaments of Lucky Luciano may have come out in the 70's.
Same with Meyer Lansky.
Little Man was told by Meyer Lansky to Robert Lacey. Meyer died in 1983, and i beleive Little Man came out in 1985.
Only Joe Bonanno has his auto-biography released while he was still alive.
