Yeah, like The Freshman and Oscar. They're labeled as Gangster/Comedy type of movies.

I haven't seem too many mafia comedies (I didn't see the movie Mafia, but from what I saw it wasn't that great). Also, the Godson or Goodson with Rodney Dangerfield was HORRIBLE from what I saw. I don't mind if the mafia movie is a drama (like Goodfellas & Casino), and has humor in it, but don't just make the movie a comedy because I feel they stink & will fail!

Although I can't say it was a "wonderful" movie, I really enjoyed "Mikey Blue Eyes" with Hugh Grant and James Caan. I thought it was funny!

I once inteded to watch a mafia spoof starring Kevin Pollak, but turned it off after 20 minutes, because it was sooo bad.

Oscar is my favorite, and Analyze This is great.

But I think there are more crime/comedy movies than we'd think. Not only spoof movies or mafia related, but regular crime comedies (Snatch indeed) are great. You could count the humor parts of Pulp Fiction to this genre as well I think. I also LOVE "The Mexican".

And of course, The Soprano's can be funny sometimes.

Buddy Cop movies are crime-comedy combinations a lot (like Bad Boys, or Blue Streak)

Surprisingly I enjoyed it as well. A now ex-friend of mine watched it when we were friends & she kinda got me into it. She always thought I looked like Hugh Grant anways! But even for a chick flick, it was pretty good.

I can believe no one has mentioned "Prizzi's Honor" or "Married To the Mob"!

How am I not myself?

PRIZZI'S HONOR was a great film. MARRIED TO THE MOB, just OK.

How about THINGS CHANGE, with Joey Zasa & Don Ameche. Anybody see that one?

The Whole Nine Yards wasn't a bad flick.
