The old guy whacked on the boat was the uncle, whose son was the crazy guy with the tiger. The two brothers whacked him because he was old, soft and dope-riddled, I guess. The hit that the wife was talking about was of the crazy guy with the tiger, whose behavior was dangerous and who, in the first half, got mad at her and was getting ready to whip her.
