I watched it last night and to be honest I wasn't impressed.

It seemed predictable and boring (in my opinion) Everything seemed too easy for Sullivan, robbing the banks without any hassle or comeback and the revenge killings too simple.

Maybe the fact that I was conciously / subconciously comparing it to far greater gangster films like The Godfather or Goodfellas meant that it never really had a chance.

Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers........Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future.
