In the past four days I have seen my first two Tarantino flicks...

Jackie Brown is an amazing piece of direction. The acting is superb. The story is great if not simple to follow. But most of all the characterization is better than anything else. Samuel Jackson tops the bill, and De Niro's cameo is unsurprisingly flawless!

Reservoir Dogs totally blew me away. The first half-hour or so, especially after the credits, is possibly the best beginning to a movie I have watched! The filming is superb! Pink and White in the bathroom, with the camera watching them from the corridor outside--emphasises the expectation immensely! And the ear! Oh, the ear! Fantastic and original plot, with flawless acting and the direction just simply took over me!
