I love this movie! everyone always says how its boring at times, but I love the whole thing! I always hear people on this board saying how they'd change this about a movie, but i wouldn't change anything about Scarface, the godfathers, goodfellas, Casino etc., because chances are hen they wouldn't be the gret movie they turn out to be.

But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

chances are... but removing stuff is almost never a wrong thing when you have 2,5 hour movies like Scarface and Casino (both could be better at 2), and adding all extra scenes to The Godfather, making it a 4 hour movie, would maybe even improve it.

but speculating about changes to movies will be discussions never closed, since the movies are simply done the way theyre done.and that's that

when have you seen a 5 hour movie? and 2 isn't that long. The average movie is and hour and a half to 2 hours.

what are you talking about?

I said the movie would probably be better when reduced from 2,5 to 2 hours, and now you say 2 hours isn't that bad?

I know most movies have screen durations between 90-130 minutes.

the longest film I have seen must be Once Upon A Time In America 3 hours 47 minutes.

The longest movie ever though appears to be 25 hours and was released in Switzerland in 1992.

Sorry.

In 1989 the University of Chicago relesed an 87 hour long film about insomnia and was viewed in one continuous presentation between Late Junuary and Early February.

Oh. Sorry. I thought you were trying to say you were sick of all these 2-5 hour long movies, or something along those lines. I'll have to look at your original post agian.

Mike the 25 hour movie I talked about was the longest to have a commercial release, I should have said that.

But damn, 87 hours...that's not even as long as the world record filmwatching (currently at 65 hours, but I'm going to brake that)
