Here's a little trivia: Casino holds the record for the most F words said in a movie, beating out Scarface and Pulp Fiction.
and Goodfellas, which Casino shows (too) much resemblance to. Maybe that's why it isn't as classic as Goodfellas. that and the fact it is too long.
GOODFELLAS & CASINO:
Scorsese directing, three leading actors including Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci, based on a book by Nicholas Pilleggi, written by Pilleggi and Scorsese themselves, story based on real (mob) events, Pesci's character is a hothead, there's a girl with special meaning to one of the principal characters, it's about the rise in the mob, Frank Vincent is a supporting character, Scorsese's mother has a small part, it uses music from the time it is set in.
Casino also reunites DeNiro and James Woods (after Once Upon A Time In America). Sharon Stone is the femme fatale (winning many awards for her role).
Watch it, it's a mob-movie-must-see!
