i like christopher walken, he is an underrated, amazing actor. i only liked the movie when he was in it.....but the plot just wasn't that good. movie not that good....i liked suicide kings much better (saw them back to back, and both had walken).

I was hoping for a little more, but still, it was a very good movie.

Hi,
I was a big fan of this movie when it came out, but I'm not sure it stands the test of time that well. I'm an Abel Ferrara fan, but the 80's MTV-lighting here kind of drags things down. Walken and Fishburne are great, however.

I love King of NY. I mean, sure its not one of the top gangster films by no means, but its still a pretty decent film.
The film is about a drug kingpin, Frank White (walken), who gets released from jail and tries to regain control of the criminal underworld in New York. The competition doesn't like this so a street war ensues. A team of cops take it upon theirselves to bring down Frank, but will it prove successful?
Is that an okay preview? =)
