Pulp fiction with it's dark comedy, Goodfellas with it's staggeringly realistic well played story, which is better?
You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

Nice choice capo. I personally have a hard time comparing the two because they are completely different. One is a comic gangster story and the other is a tragedy, but I have to say that GoodFellas is better.

I've been dreading to answer this question a long time. They're both 2 extraordinary and amazing films, but I think Goodfellas is better by no more then .3 or .4--Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, Ray Liotta. That's one hell of a crew to beat.-- Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis, and John Travolta. That's one hell of a crew to beat. But I think the supporting actors were just a tad better in Goodfellas then in Pulp Fiction. They both rank in my top 10. -Pat

Goodfellas is definately one of my favorites. But Pulp Fiction is definately better. It had several stories that had to come together. I don't think many directors could pull that off. That's why it was so well recieved when it came out, people had never seen anything like it, it's totally original.
