That's where i lost u. Donnie Brasco as Pacino's best work?? . I wouldn't even put that in his top 15 performances.

Anyway, what IMO gives DeNiro a slight edge is that almost all of his great performances have come in AT LEAST "good" movies. Pacino's best(Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, Scarface) aside from his legendary work in legendary movies like GF I and II aren't really what I would call quality movies. They are good, but no that good. DeNiro on the other hand has quite simply starred in more well made movies.....which obviously also end up helping his performances a little.
