You could easily find a better mob film.
You could equally easily find a whole bunch of worse ones.
It's a typical example of that nauseating self-bronzing and catapult-elevating that 99% of wiseguys' memoirs are. Watchable, and certainly better than, say, Sofia Coppola :p , but not particularly memorable. It has a rather relaxed, slow feeling, though it's not nearly as dull and plodding as, say, "Once upon a time in America". I'd say that it's worth exactly the price for which I found it in an online store, which was 9 Australian dollars. As far as TV/video films about the mob go, I'd place it below, say, "Falcone" or "Witness to the Mob", and above e.g. "Lansky".
