Personaly i have only little problems with the Italians. Older Sicilians like my grandparents don't like them, the reason for this is the following.

Until 1860 Sicily was separate from Italy, it had his own gouvernament and leader. In 1860 the Italians send Mr Garibaldi conquer Sicily. Over here we talk about the "Mille" Expedition, and so Sicily became part of Italy. In 1928 Mr Mussolini send Prefect Cesare Mori to whipe out "our thing" and he almost succeed.

That's why older Sicilians don't like Italians.

I don't like them to much because i thnk they are to slick and dumb. They don't treat you fair, they are nice when they are talking to personally and talk to much behind your back. We Sicilians are slick aswell but we are not dumb and don't talk.
